Hunter S. Havens

Hunter Havens is an experienced civil trial lawyer heavily focused on complex civil litigation, including trucking and transportation, motor vehicle accidents, construction, fire and arson investigation, traumatic brain injuries, professional liability, premises liability, product liability, and employment, often involving difficult issues. He has handled 1,000’s of cases as a trial attorney with excellent outcomes for trials and arbitration.  Hunter helps his clients achieve early favorable resolution of cases, many pre-suit and without the need for litigation, or through vehicles such as voluntary dismissal, summary judgment, or mediation.

Hunter has successfully argued numerous appeals on a wide range of issues in various Ohio Courts of Appeal and before the Ohio Supreme Court.

Hunter received his Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University.

Hunter also serves as a Mediator for private mediations, and through the federal district courts in Northern Ohio.  As one who has handled cases on both sides of the aisle, he brings a unique and impartial perspective that can be helpful to the parties in hearing their side of the story, and in helping them to achieve their goals and bring about the best result possible for both sides.

Hunter is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, TIDA, CLM, DRI and serves as an arbitrator for Common Pleas Court and a Selected Arbitrator for insurance disputes.
